Willow Bee FarmContact Name: John Bodin, Ellen Bodin Location: West Rd  North Chittenden, VT Phone: 860-884-6791 Website/E-mail: beezwaxvt@yahoo.com Farm Description / Focus of Internship: Have all the parts for erecting a 48'x24' greenhouse for year round growing, which is one of our projects. Also setting up an apiary for 10 colonies of bees.  Need help with bear fencing and preparing the equipment to be used. Third project involves apple release and restoration of old trees.

Duties: Assist in set up of bee yard and fencing for bear proofing bee hives / work with apiarist in all hive management activities Assist in set up of green house and establish new planting beds. Assist in set up of farmer's market participation. Assist in restoration of old orchard and apple release from woodlots. Dates: June 7th - October 1 (possibly longer) Housing Situation: Shed &/or barn available for rustic living situation.  Beautiful camp sites as other option. Room in farmhouse available after July 1 Internship Pay: Will barter time for meals, honey and experience. Small stipend possible after initial trial. Share in profits from farmer's market. Internship Hours: 8am-3pm Comments: Looking for help in setting up small farming venture. No experience necessary, but would welcome someone with previous skills in farming.
