Tara Kelly, Executive Director
Tara focuses on strategic thinking, program planning, administrative management, statewide cooperation, local collaboration, and fundraising. Tara has been actively involved in community development for over fifteen years. She is both a founding member of RAFFL and the organization’s first executive director. She is full-time with RAFFL in addition to managing her other community and family commitments.
Jen Miller, New Farmer & Farm Fresh Connect Programs
Jen coordinates RAFFL’s New Farmer program, offering support and guidance to area farmers. She also manages RAFFL’s Farm Fresh Connect and buying club programs. After seven years of farming (five of them in Vermont), she recently completed a masters’ degree in community development and applied economics. When Jen is not working, she enjoys growing vegetables, hiking, yoga, and sharing good food to with family and friends.
Jenn Simons, Glean Team
Jenn is RAFFL’s AmeriCorps VISTA member coordinating the Glean Team program. As a VISTA, she’ll fulfill a year-long commitment at RAFFL focused on strengthening the Glean Team and capacity building with a healthy futures focus. She’s looking forward to applying her background in sociology and environmental studies by increasing access to farm-fresh vegetables across socioeconomic classes while diverting food waste and getting to know local farmers. A Nebraska native, she has an appreciation for wide open spaces but a fascination with the community and farming landscape across Vermont.
