Tara Kelly, Executive Director
Tara focuses on strategic thinking, program planning, administrative management, statewide cooperation, local collaboration, and fundraising. Tara has been actively involved in community development for over fifteen years. She is both a founding member of RAFFL and the organization’s first executive director. She is full-time with RAFFL in addition to managing her other community and family commitments.
Jen Miller, New Farmer & Farm to Workplace Programs
Jen coordinates RAFFL’s New Farmer program, offering support and guidance to area farmers. She also helps manage RAFFL’s Farm-to-Workplace and buying club programs. After seven years of farming (five of them in Vermont), she recently completed a masters’ degree in community development and applied economics. When Jen is not working, she enjoys growing vegetables, hiking, yoga, and sharing good food to with family and friends.
Steve Peters, Communications and Food Education
Steve manages RAFFL’s communications and marketing, as well as the Everyday Chef cooking education program, where he teaches people how to cook with and eat seasonal, healthy foods. With a background in education and a passion for food, he loves to show people how accessible it is to cook and eat well. In his free time he bakes, writes, travels, works in his vegetable garden, and cooks.
Elizabeth Theriault, Program Director
Elizabeth manages and coordinates the planning and operation of programming at RAFFL. She has masters degrees in public health and social work. A Maine native, Elizabeth spent six years abroad working in New Zealand and England in the social sector. Her true passion lies in working with communities around health, food access and sustainability.
