The Rutland Area Farm and Food Link (RAFFL) envisions a vibrant, interconnected, and organized year-round farm and food system that involves and benefits the entire Rutland region.

Our work supports the vision that farmland in our region will be populated with farmers who have access to the skills, markets, infrastructure, and networks necessary for success.  These farmers will be supported by an educated citizen core which understands the connections between local food, nutrition, personal health and regional economic well-being.

The resulting food system will include expanded markets and infrastructure necessary to supply the institutional and personal needs in our communities - ensuring food security, access, nutrition and economic health.

To this end, we are pursing the following projects:

  • New Farmer Initiative
  • Farm to Workplace delivery program
  • Green Mountain Food Hub
  • Locally Grown Guide
  • Grow a Row - Food access and gleaning program
  • Annual Farmers' Gathering and Resource Fair...and more!
