Volunteer

RAFFL Ambassadors
Help spread the word about our work! Represent RAFFL at outreach events and other community events and/or distribute Locally Grown Guides. Must enjoy being out in the public and be passionate about local farms and food
Events and Office Work
Volunteer at RAFFL events, like Twilight in the Meadow or our Farmers Gathering. For volunteers with an eye for detail, we can always use extra help with our databases, mailings, and other office tasks
Everyday Chef
For those who love to cook! Help out at cooking demonstrations and/or distribute Everyday Chef handouts and posters to worksites.
Grow a Row and Gleanings
Make local food available to all by volunteering for Grow a Row: collect extra produce at the farmers’ market, harvest vegetables during a gleaning, and/or deliver food to partnering food shelves and food service organizations

Internships

RAFFL often offers summer, fall, and spring internships to interested students. Internships are catered to meet the student’s interests, goals, and school requirements. Internships are either paid or unpaid, determined on a case-by-case basis. Prospective interns should fill out the Intern Application and e-mail it to elizabeth@rutlandfarmandfood.org. Please include a cover letter that explains your interest in RAFFL as well as a resume.
