Whole Farm Review Training for Those Practicing Holistic Management


With partial funding provided by "Social Sustainability on the Farm," a project of the Vermont SARE program, the VT Women's Ag Network has organized this training for farmers practicing holistic management, including past participants of the Whole Farm Planning for Beginning Women Farmers course and their farming partners. For those of you still incorporating holistic management into your farm management (or wanting to be re-inspired to do so!), this training will give you some excellent tools! 

Registration is limited, so sign up early.  Registration Deadline December 20! (Need to know this is a go before the holidays.)

Join Missy Bahret in an engaging full-day training on conducting an annual whole farm review.  You'll leave prepared to lead your farm through the process and to produce an actionable strategic plan for the upcoming season.

Missy Bahret is co-owner of Old Friends Farm in Amherst, MA, a 22 acre Certified Organic Salad Greens, Veggie & Cut-Flower farm.  As a Holistic Management practitioner, she has developed a unique and thorough process for conducting an annual whole farm review, with a foundation in HM but accentuated with tools she has gathered in the 10 years she has managed her farm business.  Missy will share stories and examples on how the whole farm review process has helped her farm be successful on many fronts and rooted in their holistic goal.
