Farmer Resource Fair and Farmers Gathering (Spring)
In partnership with Green Mountain College and the Poultney Mettowee Natural Resources Conservation District (PMNRCD), RAFFL hosts a day of skill-building workshops and a resource fair. Local, regional, and statewide agencies attend and present the many resources available to both beginning and established farmers. The day concludes with a community gathering and localvore dinner.
Twilight in the Meadow (September)
Each year RAFFL celebrates local food, area farmers, and good friends with its Twilight in the Meadow fundraiser. Usually held at a local farm, the night includes a delicious meal sourced from nearby farms and a silent auction. If you are interested in helping to organize the event or want to donate produce or other products, e-mail Tara at tara@rutlandfarmandfood.org.
