On March 2, 2017 meet us at Green Mountain College, for an all-day workshop on how to improve your farm's efficiency and product flow - brought to you by RAFFL, The Center for an Agricultural Economy (CAE), and NOFA-VT. Ben Hartman, author of The Lean Farm, will be speaking and hosting workshops, alongside a multitude of state-wide farm business experts. There will be opportunity for one-on-one coaching for experienced farmers with specific goals on increasing efficiency, as well as panel discussions. If you cannot make the March 2nd event, this workshop will also be hosted at Sterling College on March 3, 2017. Registration will begin on January 16, 2017 through the Rutland Area Farm and Food Link's website. More details on registration and schedule to come soon!

We are excited to be able to offer this workshop intensive to you as we welcome Ben Hartman to Vermont! For more information on Ben's book and "Lean" principles, click here. Please email or call Mara Hearst, RAFFL's new Farmer Advisor, with any questions you may have.

Happy New Year!
