Support available through Intervale Center’s Beginning Farmer Coaching and Business Planning

Steve Peters

Are you an aspiring farmer or a farmer in your first 10 years of business and in need of support or guidance? The Intervale Center offers production technical assistance, financial coaching, marketing coaching, business planning, and other support at various levels for beginning farmers. We have space available for aspiring farmers or current farmers who are interested in receiving this kind of support in 2014.

Here are some testimonials from our clients.

“As young farmers just starting out, we sought guidance on our overall farm vision, the right enterprises for our skill set, interests, and infrastructure, how to build an accurate business plan and budget to help track progress toward our goals as well as guide our decision-making, and approaches to better understanding our potential customer base.”

“My assignments through the Beginner Farmer Program of the Intervale help me set goals in a manner that ensures I will follow through. The work keeps me on track with beginning my operation on the right foot.”
