Pick Farmer Tim Taylor's Brain!

Steve Peters

timtaylorJoin Tim Taylor of Crossroad Farm for an informal presentation and comfortable conversations about farming. The Taylors have farmed in Post Mills, VT since 1980, starting on 1 acre and now cultivating 56 acres, selling their produce all over the Valley including their own farm stand. Tim wants to share his farming knowledge with new farmers. Come join us for a short presentation by Tim, followed by your questions on any farm topics. A great opportunity to learn, network, and get excited for the season. Open to all levels of experience, no question too silly, no farmer too new! Two afternoons:

March 24, 4-6 pm: Growing and hardening plants for the field. Short presentation followed by good conversation on farm topics of the group’s choice.

March 31, 4-6 pm: Soil preparation: beds, equipment, fertility. Short presentation followed by good conversation on farm topics of the group’s choice.

Where: Vital Communities, 195 North Main St, White River Junction, VT Cost: FREE. RSVP so we can plan, to valleyfoodandfarm@vitalcommunities.org Contact: Becka Warren, Valley Food & Farm at Vital Communities
