VLT and South Hero Land Trust  will hold two open houses for interested buyers to view the property on March 15th from 10-2 and March 20th from 10-2.  VLT requests that interested buyers submit a farm business and land use plan by April 21st.  Please RSVP if you plan to attend an open house.

VLT is seeking a qualified farm buyer to purchase and operate the Landon Farm. Once a buyer is selected, a final closing date will be negotiated. We anticipate closing in the late spring or summer of 2014, but are agreeable to a short-term lease if needed to enable a buyer to have access to the property as soon as possible (while the final stages of a sale are completed).

The Landon Farm was conserved in 2003 in partnership with the South Hero Land Trust, the Lake Champlain Land Trust, and The Nature Conservancy of Vermont.  Enclosed are the conservation easement restrictions.
