Still Looking for a Farm Apprenticeship?

RAFFL

The CRAFT Program, a Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training, is a structured program for seasoned apprentices run by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont (NOFA-VT). This year the Rutland Area Farm & Food Link is working with NOFA-VT on the Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training (C.R.A.F.T.) Program. A number of farms in and around Rutland County will be  hosting apprentices who will be receiving training through the CRAFT program this summer.

Participating in a farm apprenticeship through the CRAFT program will give you access to 4-5 workshops just for CRAFT apprentices and a great support network of aspiring and beginning farmers.

The CRAFT program is a great way to get your shoe in the door for the NOFA-VT Journey Farmer Program.

We will be matching up farms with apprentices soon. We'll have some dairy farms, livestock farms and diversified veggie farms participating.

Please email me at garland@rutlandfarmandfood.org if you are interested in participating!
