Workshop this Friday, Low Energy Farming Systems at Green Mountain College

Low Energy Farming Systems: Replacing Fossil Fuels with Human and Animal PowerMany farmers and consumers are concerned about the reliance of our agricultural systems upon fossil fuel resources. This workshop will include a presentation and discussion on the need for and feasibility of fossil-fuel-free farming systems as well as field demonstrations of human and draft animal powered appropriate technologies for haying and vegetable production.

This workshop is part of the CRAFT apprentice collaboration between GMC and NOFA-VT, and is also part of NOFA-VT Summer Workshops Series and will be open to the public.
