An Introduction to Farm QuickbooksSponsored by UVM Extension, in partnership with USDA Risk Management Agency
This course is designed for all types of agricultural operators who are beginning with QuickBooks to those with an early working knowledge of the program. Specifically, it's designed for those not yet owning the program to those using QuickBooks as a check register who are seeking additional features in the computer program. The instructors will be Dr. Robert Parsons, UVM Extension Ag Economist and Pam Smith, UVM Extenstion Risk Management Coordinator.The closest class location for Rutland area farmers is:
- February 10 - 9am to 3pm. Middlebury, at the UVM Extension Office. Register by Feb 4
The same class is also offered here:
- February 17 - 9am to 3pm. St. Albans, at the UVM Extension Office, register by Feb 11
- March 3 - 9am to 3pm. Berlin, at the UVM Extension office, register by Feb 25
The class costs $45 for an individual, $80 for 2 people from the same farm. A light lunch is included with the registration cost. Sign up early, as this is being offered on a first come-first serve basis with a limit of 12 participants per site.
