Rich and Cynthia Larson, owners of the Larson Farm and Morningside Stables in Wells, would like to invite the Rutland farming community to their annual get together. Details below:Please join Morningside at our annual pot-luck Barbecue and Barn Dance on Saturday, October 9. We have musicians coming for square dancing in the barn after dinner! Bring your musical instruments, a side dish to pass if you can, and something to drink. We'll have the barbecue ready at 5, but come much earlier. Afternoon activities will include cider making, a horse-drawn wagon tour of the farm to observe the dairy and beef herds, music, and games starting at noon. Dancing will be from 7:00 to 10:00, followed by more music by a local band and the famed wiffleball game under the lights.
For six years now, many of you have contributed to the Uganda School Project, helping to pay the school fees for the neediest of children in Masaka District. Each year, we help about 60 children stay in school. It would be a great time to contribute again, if you wish. The needs are greater than ever, so we have added a lively auction with items donated by local businesses. You can check out the program at the following website: http://www.uganda-nkukechildrenseducationproject.org/
We’re 3/4 mile south of Wells village at 69 South Street. Rich and Cynthia Larson, Morningside (802-645-1957). Larsonrr@myfairpoint.net or CynthiaL@myfairpoint.net Hope you can come! Saturday, October 9th Rain or Shine
