I just became a member of the Vermont Vegetable and Berry Growers Association, and have immediately found use in the active listserve available to members. It is very active (191 members) and serves "to help growers buy and sell items from one another and communicate about practical farming issues." In the past week there have been discussions on propane pricing and GAP certification as well as lots of farm stuff for sale (tillers, grafted tomato plants, potato planter, packing boxes and more). You have to become a member of the association to access the listserve, but it's only $20 a year for a reduced benefit membership (basically access to the listserve). For $50 you get full membership benefits.
