The Women's Agricultural Network offers planning workshops, courses and other training opportunities for new and mature farm businesses. Follow then on Twitter for class and workshop dates and more.

Vermont Farm Viability Program provides one-on-one consultation to currently operating farms. Use these financial planning worksheets (scroll down the page a bit) to plan for your farm on your own. Their Resource Lists for New Farmers include Loans, Grants, Technical Assistance, Workshops, and Business Planning resources.

Cornell's NY Beginning Farmers Program provides "Beginning Farmer 101," an online series of 5 week courses on topics like "Land Evaluation and Choosing an Enterprise" and "Markets and Profits, making money with what you grow"

Center for Farm Financial Management offers lots of farm business planning resources (this is out of Univ. of Minn. - some resources are midwest/commodity crop specific)
