WHAT'S GROWIN' ON
A blog for and by new farmers in the Rutland Region of Vermont. The blog is a forum for sharing information, experiences, ideas and passions in pursuit of building a collective understanding of the challenges and triumphs of (re)building our farming community. Vermont New Farmer Project was launched in Febuary 2010, this interactive website provides a virtual toolbox, helping beginning farmers create a personalized business development plan and providing them access to online and on-the-ground resources that will assist in their farm development.

ATTRA - National Sustainable Agriculture Information Serviceprovides information and other technical assistance to farmers, ranchers, Extension agents, educators, and others involved in sustainable agriculture in the United States.

National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition is a national alliance of family farm, food, conservation, rural and urban organizations that together take common positions on federal agriculture and food policies, and engage and support the broad and vital grassroots efforts across the country to win long-term policy change.

The Greenhorns mission, as a small grass-roots nonprofit based in the Hudson Valley of New York, is to support, promote and recruit young farmers in America.
